Swap Nearby — Privacy Policy

Swap Nearby is a neighborhood community for bartering and sharing pre-loved
items. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not
sell your personal data.
1. Information we collect
- Account: display name, email address, and (optionally) a
profile photo and gender. Sign-in may use Apple or Google.
- Location: with your permission, your device location is
used to show items near you and to compute approximate distance. Only a coarse
city/area label is shown to others — your exact coordinates are never shared
with other users.
- Item content: photos, descriptions, and details of items
you list.
- Messages: chat messages you send to arrange a swap. We scan
message text for safety risk keywords (e.g. requests for cash/transfers) to
warn users; we do not sell message content.
- Usage & device data: basic logs needed to operate and
secure the service.
2. Credits
Credits are in-app exchange points only. They are not money, cannot be
withdrawn, transferred, or sold, and have no real-currency value.
3. How we use information
- To run the swap community: listings, nearby discovery, chat, and trades.
- To keep the community safe: fraud/abuse prevention and risk warnings.
- To operate referrals and in-app Credits.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the app
(e.g. hosting), and when required by law. We never sell personal data and never
share your exact location with other users.
5. Your choices
- You can edit your profile or revoke location/camera/photo permissions in
iOS Settings at any time.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.
6. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the
service or meet legal obligations. On account deletion we remove or anonymize
personal data, except records we must retain by law.
7. Children
Swap Nearby is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your
region).

Swap Nearby 是一个邻里之间以物换物、分享闲置的社区。我们收集的信息仅用于提供服务，绝不出售你的个人数据。
我们收集
- 账户：昵称、邮箱，可选头像与性别（可用 Apple / Google 登录）。
- 位置：经你授权后用于显示附近物品和计算大致距离；只向他人展示城市/区域，从不向其他用户展示精确坐标。
- 物品内容：你发布物品的照片、描述等。
- 聊天消息：用于约定交换；我们会对消息做安全关键词检测（如要求现金/转账）以提醒用户，但不出售聊天内容。
- 使用与设备数据：运行与安全所需的基本日志。
Credit
Credit 仅为平台内交换积分，不是现金，不可提现、不可转让、不可出售，也不代表真实货币价值。
你的选择
可随时在 iOS 设置中修改资料或撤销定位/相机/相册权限；可发邮件申请删除账号与相关数据。
